			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It is  wonderful  for an event planner when you have a family who loves themes for their celebrations and  want to have fun pulling it all together. Spencer&#8217;s Bat Mitzvah had all the ingredients. The inspiration for the theme was Carnival NYC . The venue &#8211; Polo Club in Boca Raton , Florida.</p>

<p>The first step was in developing the theme was to create the invitation. We designed a custom  invitation with an &#8220;old tyme &#8220;  carnival feel using reds and golds  as our color palette. <a href="http://linzievents.com/?attachment_id=3271" rel="attachment wp-att-3271"><br />
</a>Guest&#8217;s received their place cards at the ticket booth and entered the Fun House. Over sized  popcorn box&#8217;s , candy apple&#8217;s and  whirly pop floral centerpieces adorned the  tables .  Red and White stripe Carnival tents and wooden barrels were situated around the room.</p>

<p>The tables were covered with red pin tuck linens with red and white stripe napkins to add a carnival flavor. Black chivari chairs with red chair pads completed the look.</p>

<p>The first step is to plan the budget. In <a href="http://lifeandstyle.colincowie.com/notes/0090p.asp">Notes from Colin Cowie</a> , he offers some great suggestions and most importantly offers this advice.</p>
<p>“ Whether your budget is large or small,  your main objective is probably to squeeze the most value out of the dollars you have to spend. My general philosophy is to do five things really well instead of 10 things poorly.</p>
<p>At Linzi Events we will offer our newlyweds the following helpful hints , &#8220;prioritize&#8221;  and more often than not    &#8221; less is more&#8221; .</p>

<p>The most high – cost item usually is the reception food and beverage as seen in the chart above. Make a list of what is important for you and budget accordingly. For example for some couples food and beverage and photography is important and will opt for DIY decor , for others  the wedding dress and entertainment are where their dollars will be spent. The budget will be worked on based on your shared list of priorities which the couple need to decide upon together . If parents are paying for the wedding the next step will be to share this list with your families so you can all be in agreement.</p>
<p>In different states, some seasons may be more popular than others so could be more expensive. So if you are not committed to a particular date this may be a consideration . For example in Florida in the summer months,  a bride may be more able to get a deal on the  location of her  dreams than in the winter months.  Should you  hire a professional wedding planner they will assist you in creating your budget, making sure your have done all your homework and when you are <strong>comfortable</strong> with your decision, sign the contracts.</p>
<p>In the end it will  be the wedding of your dreams with all your wishes in the right place.</p>

The choice of equestrian themed decor for her  Bat Mitzvah was perfect.  The celebration was held at <a href="http://www.brokensoundclub.org/">Broken Sound Country Club</a> in Boca Raton.  A combination of royal and round tables filled the room and were covered with hedges of flowers  and candles. The highlight was the “authentic horse jump ” rented from a nearby barn covered in foliage and flowers. And of course, we can&#8217;t forget the details. On the back of each chair was a custom rosette with the logo. This was the third Mitzvah that Linzi Events has planned for the Picard Family, another great celebration!  Thank you Joel from Five Star Event Group and his crew for partnering with Linzi Events to create a beautiful space for Alana. <p>Donna, selected a simple , elegant letterpress invitation from Elum Designs . The invitation true to our theme was titled &#8220;Palm&#8221; and featured a palm motif in sage ink.</p>

<p>The couple had a intimate private ceremony for close friends and family. The chuppah captured the essence of  the Jewish tradition with a  canopy consisting of a beautifully embroidered talit, stretched  over four poles which were held  by honored guests.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">The room layout was designed using  royal tables that were joined together and  placed on either side of the dance floor. The tables were covered with  royal blue and green custom floor length linens from Nuage Designs. The bamboo  folding chairs completed the look. The orchid centerpieces ran across the tables joined together with flexi grass  and tailored with  orchid heads.  A lounge was created across from the band for guests to relax . The ceiling above the dance floor was filled with paper lanterns .</p>
