70’s Theme Bat Mitzvah in Boca Raton

A 70’s theme Bat Mitzvah celebration at Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton  The  Bat Mitzvah theme began with a custom  designed Bat Mitzvah invitation  complete with  a diecast VW Station Wagon which set the theme. Jordana’s favorite color was pink which showed throughout the entire event from the kippot and florals to the dress she wore. As guests entered they found their seats on peace sign key chains.  The centerpieces were  peace signs made with a multitude of mini carnations with hanging butterflies . At each place setting  a  diecast Mini VW car was on each guests place setting . Tie dye linens were used on the kids tables with a themed centerpiece  incorporating  diecast  Mini VW cars .  Butterflies hung from the  ceiling. Jordana’s cake and desserts were also 70’s inspired with tie- dye flowers and peace signs .  Guests enjoyed the VW photo booth. Everyone  left with a  tie- dye  sweatshirt with a custom logo  designed by our Bat Mitzvah mom.  Photographer: Neil Cohen Photography

Destination Wedding at the Boca Resort and Club in Boca Raton, Florida

If you are planning a destination wedding in South Florida, the Boca Resort and Club in Boca Raton , Florida is the perfect luxury venue for a magnificent wedding. The Cathedral Room overlooking the intercoastal waterway was the perfect ballroom space at the Boca resort for Kimberly and David’s dream wedding . The room was designed by Addison Mizner, the Resort’s founder and architect. It is truly grand with beautiful ceiling detail and gold-leafed pillars making for a truly romantic setting. A perfect option for couples looking for an interesting space as opposed to a standard ballroom within a luxury resort. Credit: Munoz Photography.

The brides dress was custom designed by Rene Ruiz , couture designer in Coral Gables, Miami . She carried a bouquet of white peonies. The bridesmaids carried  plum mini callas which perfectly complimented their dresses.

In contrast to the grand old world architecture in the room , a contemporary design was selected by the bride and groom. An acrylic canopy with a custom motif complimented with a hedge of hanging orchids was designed for the ceremony. The floor plan consisted of a combination of round and royal tables, acrylic chivari chairs and three different centerpieces.

Custom , Hand Made Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah Invitations.

Do I give away the theme of the Bar/Bat mitzvah or not?  Many clients will decide on a theme and run with it , starting with the invitation. Other clients want their theme to be a surprise. Linzi Events in collaboration with the talented Miriam from Talento Designs in Boca Raton created some unique invitations for our clients.

Ginger’s Bar Mitzvah Theme was the 60’s. Tie dye, flower power, love , peace and of course the classic vintage VW hippie bus was the inspiration for the invitation.

An iron cast vintage  bus was sourced which was “parked ”  in a  box . The picture above was the assembly line of the invitations, off to be delivered.

Kyle , our Bar Mitzvah boy loved fishing. The reception was held at the Fishing Hall of Fame and an invitation was designed incorporating the theme.

“Actual” picture taken of Kyle snorkeling taken with an underwater camera  was used for the invitation.

The celebration took place  at the Fishing hall of Fame. The centerpiece designed by Xqusite Events  with strands of blue crystals surrounding an under water themed floral arrangement.

Royce’s Japanese Garden was the theme for her Bat Mitzvah. Miriam designed the invitation using  a beautiful Japanese pattern in red and gold tones.

The entrance to the Royce’s celebration  , with a Japanese Geisha wearing a traditional gold and red kimono welcomed the guests.
