Who Wants To Play Tennis? A Tennis Themed Bar Mitzvah Celebration

Flashback to fabulous tennis themed  Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah celebrations. We have had a recent slew of Mitzvah clients with a passion for tennis .

Linzi Events took the client’s passion for tennis and turned it into the ultimate sports party. What better place to have this event but in “center court”  at the Delray Beach Tennis Center  under a clear tent .

Bar Mitzvah Themes: Favorite TV Show

Bar Mitzvah Themes – Why not choose your favorite TV show ?  Max’s favorite TV show was ” The Big Bang Theory ”  and our  job was to create a ” Big Bang Barmitzvah” . Based on main character’s in the show who were  all scientists and “extremely smart “, our inspiration piece for the decor was a rubik’s cube.   On entering the party,  guests found there names on a white board with their names set in a mathematical formula.  The adult tables were square with a floral arrangement designed to resemble a rubik’s cube.  A black and white  dance floor with the logo “Max’s Big Bang Bar Mitzvah” logo.  This is a great theme for kids who love puzzles, games and who are mad scientists. 70’s Theme Bat Mitzvah in Boca Raton

A 70’s theme Bat Mitzvah celebration at Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton  The  Bat Mitzvah theme began with a custom  designed Bat Mitzvah invitation  complete with  a diecast VW Station Wagon which set the theme. Jordana’s favorite color was pink which showed throughout the entire event from the kippot and florals to the dress she wore. As guests entered they found their seats on peace sign key chains.  The centerpieces were  peace signs made with a multitude of mini carnations with hanging butterflies . At each place setting  a  diecast Mini VW car was on each guests place setting . Tie dye linens were used on the kids tables with a themed centerpiece  incorporating  diecast  Mini VW cars .  Butterflies hung from the  ceiling. Jordana’s cake and desserts were also 70’s inspired with tie- dye flowers and peace signs .  Guests enjoyed the VW photo booth. Everyone  left with a  tie- dye  sweatshirt with a custom logo  designed by our Bat Mitzvah mom.  Photographer: Neil Cohen Photography

Destination Wedding at Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida

Peter and Paula from Montreal, Canada selected Boca Raton, Florida as the ideal choice for their destination wedding. Boca Raton is the home of close family and friends , a frequent vacation spot for the couple and of course the wonderful Florida “weather”. The wedding was held at Woodfield Country Club. The pictures below tell the story of a wedding filled with love, tears, a beautiful bride and groom , great family and friends and a fabulous party. Thank you to Jonathan Scott  for capturing the emotions and essence of this wedding. A heartfelt thanks to my a great team of vendors  Joel and Raymond from the Event Group, Ross from Rock with U entertainment  and Jodi Strafford from Woodfield country club . Another awesome wedding and so much fun. Photography by JSP Studio.

A Wedding Celebration with a Twist of Lime.

The most extraordinary wedding celebration I had the pleasure of working  on was Lauren and Matt’s wedding held in Boca Raton, Florida . Donna, the brides mother wanted to have a “party” to celebrate her daughters wedding. Out with the traditional wedding and in with a relaxed, casual celebration with a taste of the Florida Keys.

Donna, selected a simple , elegant letterpress invitation from Elum Designs . The invitation true to our theme was titled “Palm” and featured a palm motif in sage ink.

The couple had a intimate private ceremony for close friends and family. The chuppah captured the essence of  the Jewish tradition with a  canopy consisting of a beautifully embroidered talit, stretched  over four poles which were held  by honored guests.

First Look!

Just loved this picture, the bride carried a bouquet of loosely arranged white rose’s, mini callas and green hydrangea.

The guests were greeted with a place card table arrangement with multiple vases filled with lemons and assorted colorful orchids and mini mango callas.

Behind the scene the floral arrangements were being made on site by Xquisite events led by designer Jon Buick . The floral arrangements featured masses of Morcoro and Oncidium orchids grouped together in skinny glass vases.

The room layout was designed using  royal tables that were joined together and  placed on either side of the dance floor. The tables were covered with  royal blue and green custom floor length linens from Nuage Designs. The bamboo  folding chairs completed the look. The orchid centerpieces ran across the tables joined together with flexi grass  and tailored with  orchid heads.  A lounge was created across from the band for guests to relax . The ceiling above the dance floor was filled with paper lanterns .

The guests were entertained in by Jimmy Stowe and the Stowaways , a  Jimmy Buffet tribute band.

The guest’s departed with a  “mint mojito ” flavored candle. This was a truly original . Thank you to Donna, the brides mom for her inspiration and giving us the flexibility to create a beautiful wedding in true ” Florida” style.
