Jungle Island in Miami was the perfect location for Lily’s “animal inspired” Bat Mitzvah celebration. The reception was held outside in the Sable Palm Plaza set amongst beautiful lush foliage. During the cocktail hour the animal keepers and bird trainers from Jungle island brought out exclusive animals and exotic birds for guests to interact with and take photographs. The family ordered perfect weather and it was delivered for everyone to celebrate against the Miami skyline. Photography by Jill Kahn
A combination of both leopard and zebra print linens were selected for the receptions tables . For the adult reception tables we used the leopard print linen accompanied with acrylic ghost chairs. The flowers were different arrangements of vibrant orange mini callas. The color orange was brilliant against the animal prints. The kids area was black and white zebra with flowers accented with butterflies. Floral decor designed by The Flower Bazaar in Miami Beach . A white circular dance floor was used which complemented the shape of the event space . Large sized screens, controlled lighting, light up stage brought everyone to the dance floor.
Lily’s logo , designed for the invitation was an important part of the decor. Animal print linens were used to work with the color’s in the logo. Tip: When you design the logo make sure to get high resolution images from the vendor for your decorator. I always incorporate the logo in all details of the event including dj front boards , bars, cocktail napkins, party favors etc.
The family made sure the guests were committed to having fun. Entertainment by Premier Power Productions .
