With the end of summer for 2011 approaching, our 2012 brides are starting to pour in. It may seem a little early to be thinking of 2012 weddings, but it’s not at all! Every year brides want to be one up on the most up to date trends for their weddings. Here is a glimpse into the future for the 2012 wedding season.
Victorian Style Wedding Dresses
Kate Middleton was one gorgeous bride! Wondering what style dress she was going to wear was on everyone’s mind for weeks before the big day. The beautiful Victorian Style by designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen was such a success, and is already being copied by wedding designers. We predict that designers are going to be inundated with requests for this particular style in 2012! Dresses for 2012 are all about romance.

Soft Colored Bouquets
With the soft classic lines, and light colors of the Victorian Era wedding dresses, bouquets in lighter colors are going to be seen. White, Ivory, and light pink are just a few of the soft colors that we will see along with big blooms such as peonies.
Wedding Color
Stylists are predicting that soft romantic colors are going to be popular in 2012. Light pinks, and simple beiges will go along with the romantic feel, nothing too splashy such as last year’s bright pinks and plum purples.
Food
For years the traditional tiered wedding cake has been the dessert at affairs, however this year caterers are predicting that they will see a major trend in less cakes and more dessert stations. Fun little desserts and tartlets make for more fun than a traditional style wedding cake. Grooms cakes will also be making a comeback this year.

Candy BARS!!!!! What’s not to love about an amazing candy bar with fantastic candies? More and more brides are seeing that this is one of the most popular choices for party favors.
